Youth Yoga Workshops
The Online Youth Yoga Workshop is designed to provide young people with the tools and techniques to nurture their mind, body, and spirit. It includes 90 minutes of yoga practice, followed by 60 minutes dedicated to conceptual understanding. Additionally, an interactive session with youth guest speakers is part of the experience. Each workshop is complete and self-contained, and the hours contribute toward YTT credits for elective learning.

Understanding Your Inner Self
This presentation introduces Internal Family Systems (IFS), a transformative therapeutic approach to healing anxiety by exploring the diverse "parts" of ourselves. Designed for young adults as well as parents, this session delves into the IFS framework, which views the mind as a system of sub personalities or "parts," each with unique roles and emotions. Participants will learn how to connect with their Self — the core, compassionate center of their being — to foster inner harmony and reduce anxiety. Combining IFS principles with mindfulness and embodiment practices, this session will equip attendees with tools to understand and care for their inner world, transforming anxiety into an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.

Dallas Suryathon
Our Group Sun Salutations program is a dynamic, collective practice designed to energize the body and calm the mind. In this session, we flow through a series of synchronized movements and breaths, practicing 1000 asanas together. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the supportive group environment allows you to connect with others while grounding your practice in rhythm and intention. Webinar: Yoga for lower back and hip pain
Join this insightful webinar hosted by a physical therapist, Dr. Saravanan Chockalingam where he’ll dive into the essentials of functional anatomy and how yoga can support recovery and pain management of lower back and hip. The session will cover understanding and identifying conditions of disc bulging, which can cause pain during forward bends, and sciatica, where nerve compression may benefit from targeted yoga poses. You’ll gain practical tips on using mindful movement to alleviate discomfort, improve flexibility, and prevent further injury.

Winter Yoga Yagna 2025
Yoga Bharati celebrates Yoga Yagna twice yearly and winter Yoga Yagna is from Jan second weekend to Feb 1st weekend. We conclude with a program where we have a high energy group practice. The conclusion is a high-energy yagna with 1000 asanas that includes Surya Namaskars and other asanas. It will be a yoga session with music, cheering, and a wonderful sense of achievement!

Information Session for Yoga Teacher Training
Join our Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Information Session on December 19, Winter 2025. This Yoga Alliance RYT-200 course integrates various aspects of yoga, including asana, pranayama, kriya, and meditation techniques. Our course provides in-depth yogic philosophy derived from ancient yoga texts such as Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali Yoga Sutras that are applicable to the modern lifestyle and values.

Deepen Your Yoga Announcement
Yoga will help you build body intelligence, to be able to detect some of the chronic conditions and pain at the onset. It will bring you inner peace by helping you detect your own unrest, irritation, and stress at its onset. Yoga for Pain (Back & Neck)
Yogic Management of Pain conditions is a holistic approach to healing involving yoga practices and understanding yogic concepts. In this workshop, participants will explore yoga practices, such as asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing practices), along with the concept of Ashtanga yoga and the philosophy of yoga. Pranayama for Stress and Sleep
YogaBharati is pleased to offer a 21-day pranayama workshop as part of community outreach and a small informal study on pranayama and its efficacy on stress and sleep.

Effect of Yoga on Children with ADHD - Phase II
We are inviting participants for the study on yoga and its effects on children with ADHD. The study starts in September 2024 and we will be taking enrollment throughout the year. Classes will be conducted in SF Bay Area (CA), Los Angeles area (CA), Dallas Texas, and possibly other parts of the USA (TBD).
