Yogashree N.V. Raghuram
Chairman and Spiritual Founder of Yoga Bharati, is a Professor of yoga philosophy at Swami Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation (SVYASA), Bangalore, India. Trained by esteemed yogic figures like Prof Satyanarayana Sastry, he has practiced yoga since childhood. Raghuram pioneered yoga therapy in a German neurological clinic and initiated programs in hospitals across Italy, Turkey, and China. His global influence extends through Asia, Europe, and America, where he conducts discourses and stress reduction programs rooted in yoga principles.

Swami Bodhananda
Revered in America and India for his expertise in Vedanta and meditation, hails from Kerala, India. He pursued economics in his undergraduate studies before joining the Saraswati order, founded by Adi Shankaracharya. Currently, he serves as the Spiritual Founder and Director of The Sambodh Society in America and 11 other Sambodh Foundation organizations in India. Dr. Prasad Kaipa
Since 1990, Prasad has coached 120 C-level executives in Global Fortune 500 companies, focusing on innovation and leadership. He guides them to leverage creativity for innovative decisions and effective management, drawing from Hindu spiritual literature. Anil Surpur
Anil Surpur, B.E (E&C), M.S (Yoga), MBA, E-RYT500, YACEP, C-IAYT, is a founding member and the President of Yoga Bharati; he is Senior Faculty and Yoga Teacher at Yoga Bharati. Anil's interest is in Yoga research in addition to teaching yoga. Anil is on the Board of Directors of Yoga Bharati and Vyasa USA. He is holding a position as Director of Engineering in Ooma Inc., Sunnyvale, CA.

Ashwini Surpur
Ashwini Surpur, BS (CS), MA (Sanskrit), ERYT-500, CIAYT, is the Executive Director of Yoga Bharati and a Senior Yoga Therapist. With 15 years of experience as a Software Engineer at Oracle, she transitioned to full-time volunteering at Yoga Bharati in 2010. Specializing in yoga therapy, particularly for cancer and terminally ill patients, she's a sought-after speaker on yoga and Hindu philosophy and contributes articles to various publications. Passionate about literature and philosophy, she holds an MA in Sanskrit and enjoys writing poems and articles in her free time.

Savita Joshi
Savita Joshi, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, MBA (Finance), serves as the Executive Director of the Dallas chapter of Yoga Bharati. Savita has served as Treasurer and Director of Yoga Therapy services. With a Diploma in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA, Bengaluru, she specializes in women's yoga, psychosomatic disorders, and children's yoga therapy. She was also Executive Director of an online Sanskrit school and teaches in Yoga Teacher Training programs. She is a sought-after speaker at various Yoga retreats and conferences. Shailesh Basani
Shailesh Basani (MS, ERYT, C-IAYT) boasts over 30 years of yoga practice and holds certifications from Yoga Bharati, VYASA, Yoga Alliance, and IAYT. Trained under renowned gurus like YogaShri N.V.RaghuramJi and Dr. Nagarathna, he's been an active volunteer with Yoga Bharati for 15+ years, teaching classes on yoga, therapy, and stress management. Shailesh, a faculty member for yoga teacher training, extends yoga to rural schools in Telangana, India. With degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, he serves as a Director at Adobe Systems, recently relocating with his family to Austin after two decades in the SF Bay Area.

Dr. Sunil Thummala
Dr Sunil Thummala is the President of Yoga Bharati Dallas Chapter. He is a Board-certified Neurologist. As a neurologist, he was an atheist until 6 years ago when he started to ask questions like where people will go as he kept pulling the life plugs (life support) in his practice. His questions were strong but no answer in the western medicine whatsoever. He educates his patients about handling the root cause and not the crack. Medicines and modern techniques are good to cover the cracks only as a symptomatic relief. He even sometimes teaches them some yoga practices. He advises patients to practice Yoga and Meditation for healing and wellness.

Seetha Ramu
Seetha Ramu (MS, EYRT) is the President of the Detroit Chapter and a senior Yoga Instructor. She has organized and facilitated several YTT sessions and yoga retreats in Detroit. She has been teaching free community classes for the past several years. She works for a healthcare company as a senior EDI manager.

Rajendra Kelkar
Rajendra Kelkar is the President of Yoga Bharati LA Chapter. Rajendra got his yoga certification training in 2006 from Raghuramji in Los Angeles. He has been practicing yogasana and studying yoga philosophy. He has been associated with Yoga Bharati LA since its inception and leads Yoga Bharati LA chapter now. He holds engineering degree and works in software industry. Rajendra is looking forward to live a yogic life and encourage others to follow yoga practices.

Dr. H.R. Nagendra
Padmashree Dr. Nagendra, once with NASA, is now Chancellor of SVYASA, Bengaluru, India, transitioning from engineering to human engineering in pursuit of truth. SVYASA, a Yoga Therapy Health Center and University, has published over 300 research papers on yoga and its applications, also offering Ayurveda and Naturopathy programs. Dr. Nagarathna Ram
Dr. R. Nagarathna, MBBS, MD, FRCP (Edinburgh), FICA (USA), serves as Chief Yoga Therapy Consultant and Dean at SVYASA, Bengaluru. With a medical background and extensive yoga knowledge, she leads the health center's therapy division for various ailments. Dr. Nagarathna also mentors Ph.D. students at SVYASA. Dr. Richard Fletcher
Dr Richard Fletcher is a Research Scientist at MIT and an Assistant Professor, at UMass Medical School, Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Fletcher is currently an investigator on several clinical studies with partner hospitals in the US and India. Dr Fletcher has guided and mentored Yoga Bharati in Yoga research on Children with ADHD.

Dr. Sriram Sarvotham
Dr Sriram Sarvotham, PhD, ERYT-500 is a senior faculty at Yoga Bharati. He has been practicing yoga since childhood; he received the Yoga Teacher Certification from the Art of Living Foundation in 2001. He has conducted over 150 workshops and retreats on yoga, Bhagavad Gita, and Patanjali Yoga Sutras all over the USA. He is the recipient of the Exemplary Service Award and the Yoga Service Award.

Saravanan Chockalingam, PT, DPT, C-OMPT, CLT, C-IAYT is a Physical therapist, Vestibular Rehab specialist. Certified Lymphedema therapist. Yoga Therapist at Yoga Bharati, Detroit chapter. He is the Co-Owner of FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Waterford & Algonac Michigan. He advises and mentors yoga therapy initiatives in the Yoga Bharati Michigan Chapter.

Dr. Joysree Subramanian
Dr Joysree Subramanian. M.D, M.B.B.S is a Board-certified Pain Management Specialist. She is an Associate Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Iowa–Carver College of Medicine. Her Research Interests are in the area of Neuromodulation in neuropathic pain in pediatric and adult pain patients. She advises and mentors yoga therapy initiatives in the Yoga Bharati Dallas Chapter.
