Yoga for South Asian Heart Center

We are pleased to announce new Yoga classes in collaboration with the South Asian Heart Center at El Camino Health. AIM to Prevent program participants can avail these Yoga classes for a discount to complement their MEDS approach.  Classes will be based on the Ashtanga Yoga approach which includes Asanas (physical postures) and Pranayama (breathing techniques) in addition to Meditation (Dhyana). Also included will be specific relaxation techniques.

START DATE: March 3, 2024

DAY/TIME: Every Sunday, 8 am - 9 am PST - ONLINE

Standalone Heart Healthy Yoga conducted once per week -

for South Asian Heart Center members - $40 per month (Add on any other Yoga Bharati package for $25 per month)

for YB members - $60 per month (Consider becoming South Asian Heart Center member to avail above discount)

Note: Refunds are not given on monthly classes. If you are not able to attend for the present month, you may write to us for extension.

Classes will be taught by Prasad Saranjame, a certified Yoga instructor who has been learning, practicing and teaching Yoga since 2012. In addition, Prasad has been a regular participant in the South Asian Heart Center's AIM to Prevent program since 2008. Yoga, Meditation, regular exercise along with a balanced diet have helped Prasad make and sustain significant improvements to his overall health. Prasad is an active health and wellness ambassador in the community.
