FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
a) What time should we arrive at the location?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the event start time (6.15 PM) so that you can settle down and get yourself prepared to participate in the guided yoga and meditation session
b) Where should we park for the event?
Free Public Parking is available opposite to the Capitol Building. Alternatively, you can also use any of the Parking Garages around the building (Capitol Visitors Parking Garage, etc)
c) What should we wear to the event?
Please wear comfortable clothes to perform yoga postures and meditation. It is expected to be warm, but there is a lot of shade and yoga will be performed in the shade.
d) What should we bring to the event?
A reusable water bottle and yoga mat. You can bring a pillow or yoga props if you are used to them during your practice.
e) Where are restrooms located?
Restrooms are located inside the Capitol Building
f) Is there shaded area at the venue?
Yes. There is tree cover under which you can setup your mats.
g) Who should we reach out for more questions?

h) What does the event entail?
Live band music (kirtans), message from dignitaries, followed by a simple guided yoga and meditation session for about 75 minutes (7.00 to 8.15 PM)
i) I am a beginner. Can I attend?
Yes. There is no prior yoga experience needed. Purpose of the event is to introduce yoga as a tool to cultivate inner peace & wellbeing. There will be a guided yoga/meditation session. Please consult your doctor if you have any health conditions that may prevent you from doing simple yoga and meditation practices.
