Advancing in Yoga - Level 2 (classes applicable to participants with no major health issues) - 12 week workshop

  • Monday - 7pm - 8.15pm
  • Wednesday - 7pm - 8.15pm

Workshop is directed by Ekaterina Jeleva and Shriram Sarvotham, PhD, E-RYT-500. 

NOTE: Yoga class on Mondays is led by Ekaterina and Shriram (barring a couple of weeks) but Wed class will be led by Savita Joshi and other senior teachers. Both classes are necessary to make this workshop effective.

Instructor Bios:

Ekaterina Jeleva (Eka), RN, RYT200 has been practicing yoga passionately since 2003. She traveled to India in pursuit of self discovery through yoga. Since then, she has done multiple Teacher Training Programs with reputed Yoga Masters, including Yogacharya Srivatsa Ramaswami, a direct disciple of 33 years with Sri T. Krishnamacharya. Ekaterina teaches variety of yoga styles including vinayasa krama yoga, holistic hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, sukshma yoga, restorative yoga, pilates yoga fusions, inferno hot pilates, Bikram yoga; pranayma, meditation and yoganidra sessions. Ekaterina has also completed several intensive workshops on Ayurveda. Ekaterina holds the RYT200 credentials with the Yoga Alliance. A Registered Nurse (RN) by profession, Ekaterina works for Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, CA. 

Shriram Sarvotham, PhD, E-RYT-500 has been practicing yoga since childhood. He has conducted over 150 workshops and retreats on Yoga, Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali Yoga Sutras all over USA. Shriram regularly presents lectures and demos at prestigious yoga and medical conferences. Shriram holds the highest accreditation from the Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E­RYT­500). He is the recipient of the Exemplary Service Award given by the Consulate General of India in June 2015, and the Yoga Service Award given by ISKCON in September 2009. Shriram holds a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and works as a Senior Algorithms Engineer for Apple in Cupertino, CA.
