The mid-morning retreat featured a series of enlightening speeches and presentations by doctors, each contributing unique insight into the integration of yoga, yoga therapy, and modern medicine with holistic health.

  • Dr. Sunil Ji delivered the keynote address that seamlessly wove together the ancient wisdom of yoga with the empirical rigor of modern medicine. He offered a deep dive into the parallels between yogic science and modern medicine, leaving the audience inspired by the boundless possibilities of human potential. By sharing his journey and drawing analogies between the two disciplines, he inspired a vision where healthcare transcends conventional boundaries, advocating for a model where human potential is fully realized through the integration of yogic principles in therapeutic contexts.

  • Dr. Dilip Sarkar offered an intimate glimpse into his transformation from a traditional medical practitioner to a fervent advocate of yoga therapy. While counting his life experiences and the pivotal moments that led to his embrace of yoga, Dr. Sarkar illuminated the profound benefits of integrating yoga into health care. His session underscored the importance of personal conviction in the therapeutic power of yoga, bolstered by evidence from his publications and practice, thereby enriching participants' understanding of yoga as a key component of holistic health.

  • Dr. Sumana Gangi shared her compelling narrative of initially questioning the efficacy of yoga, only to become one of its staunch advocates through personal and professional exploration. Her transition was marked by an experimental approach with her patients, where the incorporation of yoga and intake of food frequency led to significant health improvements, surpassing anecdotal evidence. Dr. Gangi's commitment to empirically validating the benefits of yoga practices for health and well-being served as a testament to the transformative power of yoga when applied correctly and thoughtfully.
