Sejal Mehta, M.D., M.B.A.
Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry, Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Sejal received her medical degree from B.J. Medical College, India. She completed her residency and fellowship in Child and adolescent Psychiatry. She worked in Kansas City for four years in a private hospital. She moved to Dallas in 2004 with her family and started a private practice with PMA. She has been actively practicing in the Dallas metro area and providing excellent state-of-the-art patient care.
Dr. Manju R. Goyal, M.D.,
Board Certified Psychiatrist, Fellow of APA
Dr. Manju R. Goyal cares deeply for her patients and seeks to help each individual acquire life-long coping skills. She completed her medical schooling with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College, Patiala, India in 1975. With 30 years of experience, Dr. Goyal believes that a combination of medication and therapy works best for helping her patients achieve their goals.
Meet our Chief Yoga Therapist and Executive Director, Savita Joshi, C-IAYT:
Savita Joshi has completed the Diploma in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA University and is a Certified Yoga Therapist from IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists). After her engineering degree in India and MBA in California, she dedicated her time to serving the community through yoga therapy. She was the Director of Yoga Therapy Services at the Bay Area Yoga Bharati Team.
Savita has more than 18 years of Yoga teaching experience and ten years of yoga therapy experience.
After moving to Dallas last year, she started the Yoga Bharati chapter and has been conducting yoga therapy classes and workshops. She is also a faculty at the Diploma in Yoga Therapy (DYT) course and Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) course at Yoga Bharati.
Savita mentors and guides the Yoga Therapy Interns in their training locally in Dallas and main online batches.

Dallas chapter offers Yoga for Diabetes Management - Two yearly workshops in collaboration with Sewa International.
We offer yoga for back pain, neck pain, arthritis, respiratory disorders, diabetes mellitus, metabolic disorders such as cholesterol problems, mental health conditions, cancer, neurological disorders, and women's health conditions. We also provide therapy for children's special needs, such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum. Our holistic sessions include yoga asanas, pranayama, and relaxation/meditation techniques chosen to address the specific requirements. Yoga for Kids: Research shows Yoga for kids helps improve memory, concentration, balance, and stress. Some studies have also shown to improve their EQ along with their IQ.
In her review article, “Effect of Yoga on Mental Health in Children,” one of the world’s most prominent yoga researchers, Shirley Telles, concludes that yoga improves children’s physical and mental well-being (16). Similarly, Harvard professor Sat Bir Khalsa (17) finds that yoga in schools helps students improve resilience, mood, and self-regulation skills pertaining to emotions and stress. Thus, yoga is an important life skill tool for children and young people to cope with stress and self-regulation in a life-long perspective.
