After successfully running classes in 2023 with the help of the local community, Yoga Bharati is pleased to launch wellness yoga classes for Adults and Children in 2024!

Semester-2 starting Aug 19th, 2024


Yoga for Kids and Youth

  1. Kids 6-11 yrs | Sunday 11.30 am to 12.30 pm on Sundays

  2. Youth 12+ yrs | Sunday 10.30 am to 11.30 am on Sundays

Venue: Sai Nritya Academy, 2751 S Stonebridge Drive #1, McKinney, TX [near new HEB complex; entrance is from the back side of the building]

Each session includes breath and body synchronization practices, sukshma vyayama, Suryanamaskars, Asanas, Pranayama, and Relaxation- evidence-based practices and protocols.

Our approach to yoga is a holistic one that resonates with the 5000-year-old system of total wellness from ancient India. Yoga therapy is about combining yogic tools and techniques to suit your conditions and temperament for optimal relaxation and mindfulness, which is necessary for healing. In our yoga therapy program, we offer individual attention and follow-up with in-home practices and lifestyle education. We place emphasis on breath awareness for sharping your focus, loosening practices to prepare for Yoga Asanas, and Hatha yoga poses for mind/body awareness, as well as pranayama/meditation for a deeper connection with oneself.
