Yoga Sequence for Core and Hip Flexibility

  Stability of the hip and spine joints and strength of the core muscles defines your basic fitness. Cardio endurance and lung capacity defines your health and stamina. Our special workshop of three session series gives you a depth of the practice and the concepts behind the sequence.

Day/Time:  Three Sunday evenings - Two hour yoga session by Ekaterina Jeleva and Shriram Sarvotham  as below:

  • Sunday March 26:   5pm to 7pm
    Sunday April    9 :    5pm to 7pm

Fees (Yoga Bharati Teachers Only): $55 for all three ($25 per session)

Shriram Sarvotham has been practicing yoga since childhood; he received the Yoga Teacher Certification from Art of Living Foundation in 2001. He has conducted over 150 workshops and retreats on yoga, Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali Yoga Sutras all over USA. He regularly presents lectures, demonstrations and workshops at prestigious yoga conferences, educational institutions and corporate offices. He has received the highest accreditation from the Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E­RYT­500). He emphasizes the holistic aspect of yoga that combines all segments of yoga, including postures, breath­work, meditation, and wisdom from classic yoga texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradeepika, etc. Shriram is the recipient of the Exemplary Service Award given by the Consulate General of India in June 2015, and the Yoga Service Award given by ISKCON in September 2009. Shriram holds a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University, Houston, TX. He works in the tech industry in Silicon Valley in California.


Ekaterina Jeleva was passionately drawn to the practice of ya ince 2003. She traveled to India in pursuit of self discovery through yoga. She has studied yoga with the Art of living Foundation with emphasis on breathwork and meditation. aterinareceived her yoga teaching certification in 2009. She teaches variety of yoga styles includininayasa krama yoga, holistic hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, and sukshma yoga. She has taught yoga classes and workshops at numerous yoga studios and also conducts yoga wellness programs at corporate facilities. In addition to yoga postures, Ekaterina guides her students to discover the inner strength, connection, silence and relaxation, which profoundly elevates the quality of the practice. Ekaterinais an ardent student of the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali Yoga Sutras, from which she derives inspiration for her personal practice as well as her teaching. e holds the RYT200 credentials with the Yoga Alliance. A Registered Nurse (RN) by profession, Ekaterina works for the Cardiac Center at Stanford Medical. She has organized yoga workshops for Doctors and nurses in medical facilities.
