Yoga for Kids Vision

Did you know that 40% of all nerve fibers connected to the brain are linked to the retina? Hence brain is busy with processing visual information. Closing of the eyes not only relaxes the eyes, but the entire brain.Today’s kids are in stress due to overuse of visual aids like books, TV, iPAD, smart phones etc. We are bringing a special workshop for children to address their overall health and stress management to address modern lifestyle of overuse of eyesight and associated stress on the eyes and brain.

When:Sep 10th weekend onwards, kids classes start. Vision Kids are recommended to attend Kids classes (charges separate)

Program Director: Savita Joshi

Savita Joshi is a passionate yoga teacher and Director of Therapy services at Yoga Bharati with collaboration of Yogaksema, India. Savita has more than eight years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering and Masters degree in Business Administration. She has completed training in Diploma in Yoga therapy and has spoken at various workshops, retreats and conferences. 

With her deep desire in healing children with vision challenges and asthma/allergies and passion in yoga therapy this program was designed, offered and run successfully for the past three years.
